Keeping with the theme of flowers, for this video tutorials I thought I would show you how I create my hydrangea flowers. I love creating hydrangea flowers as I think they look so pretty on their own, or combined with other gumpaste sugar flowers. I usually try and make a variety of shades which I dust with petal dust as I think this makes them look so realistic when their together.
The photo below is an example of the hydrangeas in a bright pink colour placed in a dome of flowers on the top of a wedding cake. I love how they can be used to fill the gaps between larger flowers like the roses and peonies.
