This week I wanted to create a tutorial which was really fun, and more for a birthday or celebration, before all the Christmas tutorials start. I decided on a cute teddy bear cupcake topper, which would be perfect for birthdays, baby showers, Christenings or even just for fun. The little bear is holding a pink balloon, in this tutorial, but this can be changed to fit in with your celebration. You can then either create a selection of little bears for your cupcakes, or maybe have this as the center piece, surrounded by buttercream cupcake.
The cupcake topper is completely edible and is made from icing / fondant which I have coloured with edible food gels to give me the shades I need. I have also added a list of where you can find the tools that I have used in the video description.
I really hope you enjoy this video tutorial and also enjoy making your own little bear cupcake toppers.

Hi lynsey, I happened to view your youtube page and found it well explanatry but I wish you could explain the type of colors you used for your fondant so it is easy to match the same colors as you. Thanks for gracing us with your talent.
Hi Andem, Thank you for watching the video and for your kind words. In regards to the colours the background plaque was coloured with the Wilton kelly green gel paste colour. The teddy bear was coloured with the sugarflair chestnut with a bit of the Wilton ivory added, and the balloon was coloured with the Wilton rose pink. I hope this helps.
thanks it does help
