On the 30th April this year I was blown away as the CakesbyLynz YouTube channel reached 100,000 subscribers. This was a massive milestone for the channel and something that I could never have imagined would happen when I made my first video, showing how I made a little pair of shoes for a cupcake. Fast forward a few years and I can’t tell you how excited I was when the YouTube silver play button plaque arrived. I honestly think the UPS man thought I was a little crazy as I was so excited when he knocked on the door. This means so much to me and a massive thank you to everyone who has subscribed to the channel over the past few years and thank you so much to YouTube.
I love making the video tutorials and seeing that they are being watched and the like button is being clicked, and seeing images of your cakes, where you have found the videos helpful, is the reason I continue making them. Every time I look at the plaque it reminds me how lucky I am to have all of you, supporting me and appreciating the content. The channel wouldn’t have got this without every single one of you, so this plaque is for all of you. Also I am loving the new plaque design!
